In June of 2008 NAEF learned that its project concept note on Promotion of Rice Husk Stoves in Nepal had qualified for the World Bank's Gobal Deveolpment Marketplace DM2008 grant competition. NAEF's partner Nepal Agricultural Recsarch Council's Engineer Shreemat Shrestha will be attending the competition to be held in World Bank's headquarters in Washington, D.C. in September 24-26 vying with over 100 other projects of which 20-30 will be seleected for funding.
