NAEF joined a tour in Bihar with colleagues in Rajendra Agricultural Universty, CIMMYT, and IRRI to see their efforts there in research and promotion of zero till - conservation tillage in rice and maize based systems. One of the more interesting parts of the visit was seeing the new mini single row hand drawn star wheel (punch planter) prototype from A.S.S. Foundry and Agricultural Implements G.T. Road, Near Police Station, Jandiala Guru, Amritsar, Punjab, India Fax 91 183 432545 and 546 Tel. 91 183 432367).
